Awards and Grants

Our mission is to promote, encourage and enable Byzantine scolarship within the University. We have limited funds available for research purposes, project development, event sponsorship and other relevant activities, as well as the awards listed. If you would like to apply for funding, please download, fill in and return the application form. We consider applications throughout the year and are happy to advise on what is feasible.

In 2019-20, we are able to support activities such as the Early Slavonic Seminar, the Manar al-Athar open access photograph archive and an Oxford panel at the Christian Russia in the Making conference in Warsaw. Read our annual report for further information on the projects, publications and activities we supported.
